Photo by Alex Jones..Stephen Wood was given 6 months to live when he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer almost 2 years ago. After leaving an assisted living center in Harlingen, he came to the Comfort House so he could be near his children, who live in McAllen. But he still holds out hope, saying "The Lord's kept me around for a while, and I'm not sure he's through with me yet."
